DROMOS ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the DROMOS mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information — name, email address, and profile photo when you create an account.
• Race data — race names, dates, finish times, distances, bib numbers, shoe information, and photos you add to your passport.
• Location data — GPS coordinates during run tracking sessions. This data is used only to calculate distance and pace and is not shared with third parties.
• Device information — device type, operating system, and push notification tokens for delivering notifications.
• Usage data — how you interact with the app, such as screens visited and features used, to improve the Service.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the DROMOS Service.
• To power features such as GPS run tracking, race passport, shoe tracking, and community feed.
• To send push notifications for social interactions (reactions, follows, photo tags) if you have enabled them.
• To import your registered races and results from connected third-party services such as RunSignUp, with your explicit consent.
• To generate aggregated, anonymized insights about popular race distances and shoe preferences (no personally identifiable information is included).
• To communicate with you about the Service, including updates and support.

Third-Party Integrations

If you connect your RunSignUp account to DROMOS, we access your race registrations and results on your behalf using OAuth authorization. We store only an access token to perform this import. We do not share your RunSignUp credentials or data with any other third party.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase infrastructure (Firestore and Firebase Storage). Race photos and profile images are stored in Firebase Storage with access controls that restrict reads and writes to your account only.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal data with advertisers. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:

• With your consent — for example, when you choose to make your profile public and other DROMOS users can view your race history.
• Service providers — we use Google Firebase for data storage and Google Analytics for anonymous usage analytics.
• Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of DROMOS and its users.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings tab in the app.
• Disconnect any third-party integrations at any time.
• Opt out of push notifications in your device settings.

Children's Privacy

DROMOS is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
